Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,
New this week—Green Fork Farm has beet greens, collard greens, and turnip greens available this week. And—tomato plants ready for your garden!
Shiitakes are also back this week.
Vegetables*—Green onions, lettuce, kale, swiss chard, red mustard greens, mixed braising greens, radishes, beet greens, collard greens, turnip greens, and gourmet salad mix.
Herbs—Sage, mint, dill, lovage, fennel, parsley, oregano, and mixed herb bunches.
Eggs—Pastured chicken and duck eggs (half and whole dozen).
Meat—Pastured chicken and lamb.
Fermented foods—Sauerkraut and jalapenos.
Baked goods—Sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies (some made without wheat flour).
Salsa—Made with locally grown and organic ingredients.
Jam—Blueberry, made with organic, locally grown blueberries sweetened with fruit juice.
Olives and olive oil—organic and directly from the grower in California.
Bath and Beauty products—A variety of botanical soaps.

It’s planting time! Bee Well Gardens continues this week to expand their plant offerings for your garden. They are also introducing beautiful flower arrangements that come in a quart jar, ready to place in your home or give as a gift. Think birthday, graduation, gift for the host, or just to say I love you!
Beyond Organics is offering bok choi and turnip greens this week.
Green Fork Farm has oregano available in bunches, plus red mustard greens, mixed braising greens, and mixed lettuces. Shiitakes are also back.

Figgieville has a new shipment of olive oil, a very flavorful blend direct from the organic olive grower in California.
Beyond Organics has kale and swiss chard to add to their offerings of delicious greens.
Green Fork Farm has lovage available, a culinary herb used for its celery flavor.

Hey everyone, we want to let you know about a cool local food event called “Hoop-la” from Ozark Slow Food. It is a fundraiser for the Northwest Arkansas Local Food Guide. It is Wed April 8 from 6-8 pm at the Garden Room. It’s right next door to the market on a Wednesday, so you can pick up your order and then head over for a 3 course sit down meal by Chef Alan Dierks of Vetro 1925, plus free beer, wine and non alcoholic beverages.
