Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,

Special events this week! Nightbird Books is hosting a week-long series of events to celebrate and support the bookstore’s presence in our community. Many of the vendors at Green Fork Farmers Market will participate in their Bird Seed local food event during the market on Wednesday 4-7 pm, along with Cafe Rue Orleans, Ozark Natural Foods, Zuppa Zuppa Soup Kitchen, and Little Bread Company. We will have delicious foods available for sampling, so come on out and support Nightbird Books! More information is available at

NEW—You’ve been enjoying their Crunchy Kraut, and now Great Fermentations! is introducing jalapeno slices. Lacto-fermented for amazing flavor and health properties, these make a perfect spicy snack, side, or topping for almost anything.

Beyond Organics has peppers available this week! Choose from bell peppers, sweet bananas, and jalapenos.

Also available this week—potatoes, green onions, garlic, Shiitake mushrooms, lots of different herbs to choose from, chicken eggs, duck eggs, lamb, duck, beef, pork, chicken, olives, olive oil, cookies, salsa, sauerkraut, pet food, botanical lip balm, massage oil, sugar scrub, muscle salve, moisturizer, facial elixir, scented oil, and lots of different varieties of soap, plus baby chicks to start your home flock of laying hens, and it’s the last week to rent baby chicks for the summer.

The best selection is available if you reserve your products on the website from now until Tuesday at noon, then check out our farmers’ tables at the market on Wednesday for other items. Although they aren’t yet available for pre-order, we had cucumbers and green beans for sale at the market last week. They and other impromptu items might be available again this week, so don’t forget to take a look around. And make sure you plan to participate in Nightbird Books’ celebration event on Wednesday, and try all our yummy samples!

Proceed to checkout, review the list to make sure it’s correct, then scroll to the bottom and click on Place This Order. Make sure you receive a confirmation email—if you don’t, your order was not processed. Payment is at the market pickup with cash, check, debit/credit card, EBT, and Senior FMNP coupons. Ask about our doubling program for EBT and SFMNP.
