Dear Green Fork Farmers Market customers,

Don’t forget to place your order from now until Tuesday at noon for pickup at Wednesday’s market. It’s a perfect time to get what you need for your 4th of July celebrations this week! Vegetables and meats for the grill, herbs for perfect seasonings, eggs for deviled eggs or desserts, and ready-made accompaniments. Here are the details:

NEW this week—Beyond Organics has the first zucchini of the year. You know all the jokes about having too much of it, but remember that everything at Green Fork Farmers Market is grown without chemical pesticides, and the squash might not last long due to pest pressures this summer. So, get your fill while you can.

Figgieville has a new shipment of organically grown olives directly from the grower in California. All of your favorite varieties are available this week: Kalamatas, green and purple Sevillanos, and Lucques. They also have a sampler pack available so you can try them all. Don’t forget to try this year’s Kalamata olive oil too. It’s amazing!

Also available this week—potatoes, fresh and dried Shiitake mushrooms and mushroom powder, onions, green onions, garlic, kale, lots of fresh herbs, chicken eggs, duck eggs, lamb, pork, beef, chicken, duck, stock/soup bones, botanical bath and beauty products, lacto-fermented sauerkraut, salsa, pet food, dog bones, several varieties of baby chicks for sale, and baby chicks for rent.

We will bring additional items to sell at our tables at the market as they become available each week, so make sure you take a quick look when you pick up to see if you want to add anything to your order. For example, last week we had green beans and cured garlic for sale at the market that weren’t listed for pre-order online. If you aren’t able to place an order, you can always stop by to shop at our farmers’ tables as well.

To place your order, click on the link below to enter the website. Sign in as a customer, then click on the icon next to each product you wish to order. Proceed to checkout, review the list to make sure it’s correct, then scroll to the bottom and click on Place This Order. Make sure you receive a confirmation email—if you don’t, your order was not processed. Payment is at the market pickup with cash, check, debit/credit card, EBT, and Senior FMNP coupons. Ask about our doubling program for EBT and SFMNP.
