ON SALE this week—Crosses Creek Farm has quarts of honey on sale for a limited time at $15.00 each! They won’t last long, so get them while you can.

NEW this week—Beyond Organics Farm has 2 different kinds of kale available. Dinosaur Kale (also called Lacinato kale or Black kale) is popular in Italian cuisine and has a mild, sweet flavor. Red Russian Kale, also known as Ragged Jack, is a beautiful gray kale with ragged purple edges and is delicious! You can’t go wrong with either of these.

Figgieville also has heirloom cherry tomato plants from seeds they have saved in their garden in Fayetteville. THAT’S LOCAL!

This week we also have available through the market—locally roasted coffee; olive oil and brined olives directly from the grower in California; handmade herbal soap and body care products; natural fruit popsicles; local well-raised eggs, lamb, chicken, beef, and pork; local and naturally grown green onions, lettuce, mustard greens, bok choy, microgreens, arugula, radishes, spinach, and this is probably the last week for asparagus. And there’s still time to plant seeds and tomato plants, or start your new beehive, all available at Green Fork Farmers Market.
