Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,

Happy New Year to all of you!

Stock up again at this week’s market, as we will not have a market next week due to the SSAWG agriculture conference. The next market will be Wednesday, January 21. We will then resume our regular weekly schedule each Wednesday from 4-7 pm.

Figgieville still has Kalamata olive oil on sale for an unbeatable price. Get this while it lasts.

Also available this week:

Vegetables—arugula, lettuce, kale, and spinach.

Mushrooms—Shiitakes

Herbs—Sage and a mixed herb bunch.

*Meat*—pastured beef, chicken, lamb, pork, organ meats, soup bones, and parts for stock.

Eggs—pastured chicken and duck eggs.

Specialty foods—fermented sauerkraut and jalapenos, salsa made from local and organic ingredients, sugar cookies, sweet pepper/jalapeno jelly, and olives and olive oil directly from the grower in California.

Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,

We will have a market this week on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23 FROM 3-6 PM.

Please note the day and time change and make sure you will be able to pick up on Tuesday this week. Wednesday is Christmas Eve, and we know you will enjoy having your meal ingredients and gifts a day earlier.

We will not have a market next week. We will take a break for the New Year holiday. Our next market will be Wednesday, January 7.

Place your order for this week’s market from now until Monday at midnight for pickup on Tuesday from 3-6 pm. We have some great food for your holiday meals, as well as excellent foodie gifts and gift certificates.

New this week—Green Fork Farm is offering sweet pepper/jalapeno jelly.

On Sale this week! Figgieville has Kalamata olive oil for a really great price. And it’s delicious.

Chicken Moon Farm has sugar cookies available again this week for the holidays.

Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,

Don’t forget to place your order today for tomorrow’s market! We will not have a market next week, so make sure you stock up. Our next market will be Wednesday, November 19.

We will leave the online market open today until 2:00 pm so you have time to get your order in. If you have already ordered, go ahead and place another one if you need to get enough to make it until the 19th. Your second order will be added to your first.

We also have a couple of new items added to the market that weren’t included in this week’s order list—Figgieville has their full line of olives back in stock, and they are also offering their delicious handmade almond torte (it’s gluten free!)

If you aren’t able to order, stop by tomorrow to shop at the market. We will have chicken, pork, beef, lamb, duck eggs, fermented sauerkraut and jalapenos, olive oil, salsa, vegetables, and herbs. You can also meet our new vendor, Tim Slape with Diamond T Meats!

Figgieville is also bringing back a full line of olives directly from the grower in California.
