Veggies at Green Fork Farmers Market

Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,

Take the challenge—can you make it without going to the chain grocery store this week? There are so many delicious, fresh foods available right now, you can do all of your shopping at the farmers market. This week we have green peppers, Italian sweet peppers, jalapenos, green beans, yellow crookneck squash, cucumbers, sage, mint, basil, goat and cow cheese, olives, locally roasted coffee, eggs, honey, beeswax, herbal bath and beauty products, lamb, chicken, pork, beef, duck, and vegetable seeds. What a variety!

Place your order from now until Monday at midnight and pick up on Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the Breezeway at Nightbird Books, 205 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville. We will also have some items available on the farmers’ tables on Wednesday, so stop by if you aren’t able to place an order.

New this week—We now accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards for payment at the market. Prices will be 3% higher on card transactions to help cover the costs of offering this convenience. We will also continue to accept cash, checks, EBT (SNAP benefits), and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers. We are still doubling SNAP benefits and SFMNP vouchers while funding lasts, so use them now to double your dollars!

We are happy to be able to provide you with local food grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and natural, handmade artisan products. We look forward to your order.
