Dear Green Fork Farmers Market Customers,

We keep rolling into spring with NEW products each week! This week Beyond Organics is adding arugula, romaine lettuce, red romaine lettuce, and radishes to their offerings. Also, check out Figgieville’s half price olive sale on all varieties! And next week they will have a new shipment of delicious olive oil.

This week there are a bunch of ways to celebrate spring with baby chicks and ducklings. Green Fork Farm has baby chicks for sale, and if you want to learn more about how to raise them, they are also offering an on-farm class on raising baby chicks and ducklings. And if you still aren’t sure you are ready to start your own flock, you can rent a pair of baby chicks to get some experience or just for fun!

Don’t forget that Mother’s Day is next weekend. We have lots of goodies that would make great gifts—fill a basket with vegetable seeds, tomato plants, or fig trees ready for the garden, and amazing herbal soap and body care products. Or if mom is a beekeeper, what about a bee hive? Well-raised, local food is also a great gift for mom. Choose from a beautiful selection of fresh vegetables, herbs, microgreens, eggs, honey, chicken, pork, beef, lamb, handmade popsicles, organic olives, and locally roasted coffee. We also have gift bags of coins you can give mom so she can pick out what she wants at the market!

Place your order from now until Monday at midnight and pick up at the market on Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the Breezeway at Nightbird Books, 205 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville.
